We devote ourselves to preaching the Gospel, cultivating empowered and missions minded Christ followers, and renewing the lives of the broken
We devote ourselves to preaching the gospel.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), and all throughout scriptures we see God’s desire that all nations would come to know and worship Him (Genesis 12:1-2, Psalms 46:10, Acts 15:7-11). We want to be faithful to the calling of God as YWAM Kyiv to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have different outreaches that focus on sharing the gospel from the Discipleship Training School (DTS), to our D’light Kyiv City programs, to outreach teams and more.
We cultivate empowered and missions-minded Christ-followers.
The journey of the believer only begins as we accept the free gift of grace in Christ Jesus. When Jesus gave the great commission he called on his disciples to teach people to obey everything Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). We want to help believers grow in the grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), understand their gifts in the Holy Spirit, and be faithful to the calling to be a witness in this world. We do this through our many training programs as the University of the Nations.
We renew the lives of the broken.
It is important to not only speak of the gospel of Christ but to live it in this world. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). We want to show God’s heart of love for the broken-hearted and those in need. Our ministries such as Key of Hope (reaching out to orphans) and Support Ukraine (helping refugees struggling due to the conflict in the East) are some of our ministries aiming to renew those with broken lives.
